Custody Full Movie is a 2023 Indian action drama movie that was written and directed by Venkat Prabhu in his debut performance as a Telugu film director. The film was produced by Srinivasa Chitturi under the banners of Srinivasaa Silver Screens and Anji Industeries. Naga Chaitanya, Aravind Swamy, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, R. Sarathkumar, & Sampath Raj are among the actors featured in this movie. Both Telugu and Tamil versions of the scene were filmed at the same time.
On May 12th, 2023, Custody Full Movie was shown in theaters for the first time. The film was met with lukewarm reception from movie reviewers and underperformed at the box office.
In Custody Full Movie, A. Shiva is a carefree police officer in the year 1998 when he and his lover Revathi, who is a driving teacher, come to the conclusion that they want to elope and be married. On the other hand, Shiva is engaged in a road rage case and ends up arresting Rajasekhar, also known as “Raju,” a feared thug who executes dirty acts for CM Dakshayani and her supporters. Shiva’s involvement in this case leads to the arrest of Raju. George, who is being held captive by Shiva, reveals to him that he is an officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation and that he has been ordered to produce Raju in court in the city of Bangalore within the next forty-eight hours. According to George, Raju possesses valuable information about Dakshayani’s involvement in an orchestrated bomb blast that occurred at Morampudi in order to topple a state government that is run by a regional party. Shiva places a call to Varghese and verifies the information in Custody Full Movie ibomma.
In the meantime Custody Full Movie, Dakshayani finds out about Raju’s incarceration and orders IG Nataraj and many other thugs to eliminate him. The thugs working for Nataraj and Dakshyini attempted to assassinate Raju and George, but Shiva was able to control the goons and escape with Raju and George. Revathi travels with Shiva, Raju, and George as they travel to Bangalore. They also bring Revathi with them. Nataraj finds them after their car has been submerged in a lake close to a dam and follows it there. After sneaking inside the subterranean tunnel of the dam, Shiva, Raju, Revathi, and George come under attack from Nataraj, and George is ultimately taken out in the crossfire. Shiva, Revathi, and Raju make their way to the hospital after evading Nataraj in order to check on Raju’s condition. However, Nataraj’s men are keeping a watchful eye on the hospital the entire time they are there.

It was revealed the next day in court that Shiva had really taped Raju’s confession concerning Dakshayani’s role in the bomb attack, and he displayed the proof in front of the judge. Critical reaction
Custody Full Movie has the sort of tale that’s predictable, and some of the characters could’ve been completely developed to make this experience more than what it is, according to Neeshita Nyayapati of The Times of India, who awarded the film three out of five stars.[15] 123Telugu rated the film 2.75 out of 5 stars and commented that “Custody manages to entertain in bits and pieces; however, apart from those sections, there is nothing great to rave about.” Both Naga Chaitanya & Arvind Swami give their very best performances, but the fault lies with Venkat Prabhu’s direction and the tale he chooses to tell.[16]
The film received a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars from Kirubhakar Purushothaman of The Indian Express, who commented that “Venkat Prabhu directorial Custody Full Movie doesn’t decide what type of movie it intends to be till the final moment of the film.”[17] The film received a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars from Latha Srinivasan of India Today, who stated in her review that “The romance parts dragged the movie down and stalled the plot, and the songs seemed unnecessary as well.” Although Ilaiyaraaja & Yuvan Shankar Raja are both talented musicians and outstanding music directors, an excellent background score would have helped lift this picture to a higher level.
The Custody Full Movie was given a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars by Sushmita Dey of Zoom, who stated in her review that “Helmed and directed by Venkat Prabhu, this predictable adventure thriller could have been an impact movie but fizzled due to a sloppy screenplay.” This movie fails to distinguish out due to its slick action moves, some obvious turns, and overall massy feelings.[19] The reviewer Balakrishna Ganeshan of The Daily Hour awarded the movie a rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars and commented that while the movie “has moments of excellence but falls short.”[20]
Two out of five stars was the rating that was given by Manoj Kumar of OTTplay, who stated that “Venkat Prabhu tried to infuse the movie with his own charisma.” However, he takes things too far by breaching the fourth wall numerous times, which significantly lessens the suspense that is built up throughout the movie. It’s possible that this strategy was successful in other movies, but it doesn’t hold the audience’s attention nearly as well in a film like this one, which is built around the suspense and excitement of a pursuit.[21] A review published in Times Now scored the film two out of a possible five stars and stated, “The filmmaker Venkat intended to make a three-and-a-half-hour movie where the final scene was ten to fifteen minutes long.” In addition to great stills and clever comedic timing, the movie should have selected some fantastic music for the more emotional scenes.[22]

The events of the narrative took place in the year 1996 in the area of Sakhinetipalli. Shiva (Naga Chaitanya) is a trustworthy police policeman who does not think twice about stopping the chief minister’s motorcade in order to make way for an ambulance.
In spite of the fact that Shiva is completely over heals in love with Revathi (Krithi Shetty), her family has made the decision to marry her off to Prem (Vennela Kishore) and have the wedding take place in Tirupathi.
During the time when Shiva and Revathi are getting ready to go away together, a CBI agent played by Sampath Raj and a criminal played by Arvind Swamy enter his cell, prompting a dramatic change of events.

Artistes’ Performances: Naga Chaitanya’s portrayal of a policeman is played with a lot of sincerity. Even though the part doesn’t allow him much space to shine, he pulls off the performance rather effectively.
Krithi Shetty, who plays his girlfriend, gives an excellent performance as well.
In the beginning of the movie, Aravind Swamy’s role is fairly engaging; but, as the story progresses, his part gets increasingly boring.
A negative part is well suited for Sarath Kumar’s acting abilities. Priyamani’s demeanor demonstrates that she is well suited for the position of Chief Minister.
Both Jeeva and Anandini had cameo appearances in this movie. The humour that Vennela Kishore delivers is of the standard sort. As Naga Chaitanya’s biological father, Goparaju Ramana receives a perfect score.
Aside from the cinematography, the action stunts in this movie are without a doubt the most exciting aspect of the whole production. A single-cut battle sequence, two of the action episodes overall, one of which takes place within a reservoir, and two of the action episodes overall stand out as being particularly impressive. In addition, the cinematography is of the highest caliber.
Having saying that, the majority of the songs in the movie are below average. Their output in terms of songs has not been very impressive despite the fact that they have masters like as Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. On the other hand, the soundtrack that plays in the background is quite nice.

Analysis
In several interviews, the director Venkat Prabhu has mentioned that the Malayalam movie “Nayattu” had a major influence on him when it came to writing the scenario for “Custody Full Movie.” Although there are some parallels in terms of the films’ underlying themes, this film is in no way comparable to the Malayalam picture in terms of its captivating narrative or honest production.
The movie begins with a bomb going off, and soon after that, the protagonist, Naga Chaitanya, and the difficulties he is having in his love story due to the fact that his girlfriend’s parents had arranged a marriage with another man are shown to the audience. In addition, there are two songs and a number of monotonous periods in this episode. When Arvind Swamy first appears on screen, the movie starts to grab our attention.
When Arvind Swamy intervenes, the flow of the story is altered, and the subsequent events take on a far more intriguing tone. Not only did Venkat Prabhu cast Arvind Swamy in the role of a beedi-smoking, unruly sheeter, but he also recorded a lengthy and breathtaking action sequence in which Arvind Swamy was involved in a fight. This whole segment is quite entertaining to observe.
The big blast that signals the end of the intermission builds up our anticipation for what comes next in the story. Nonetheless, just after the first half is through, the movie makes a sharp turn in a direction that was not initially intended. The plot flaws and problems with logic start to become more obvious.
The whole second half is dedicated to Naga Chaitanya’s endeavor to defend Arvind Swamy in court, and there are no exciting plot twists or turns that occur during this time. Venkat Prabhu chooses to add a flashback episode, a Tirunalla episode, a tiny quarrel between lovers, a monotonous pelli song, and another pathos song rather than narrate this segment in a succinct manner. It just keeps going and going and going. In addition to this, a scene with a machine gun appears out of nowhere, very much like the ones in “Vikram” and “KGF.” It is very evident that Venkat Prabhu has completely missed the point here.
while it comes to logical difficulties, it is difficult to imagine that the agents of the CBI have such little power while state police agents act in such an improper manner.
In general, “Custody Full Movie” contains some interesting scenes in the middle of the movie, but as the movie goes on, it gets clumsier and drearier until it finally becomes dull. The writing is difficult to read.
